COVID Update & Free Resources
With the recent updated guidelines issued by the CDC, Bishop Kopacz has updated protocols for Masses in the Diocese of Jackson. In anticipation of more of our people returning to Mass, we certainly want to welcome all who wish to worship with us. One of our primary concerns continues to be attention to the care, health, and safety of all. Therefore, we will proceed with caution in implementing new guidelines.
We ask everyone to be prayerful as you discern your responsibility and your relationship with the other members of this community. As a Christian Community, each of our personal actions has a profound effect on everyone else. We encourage you to be reflective in your response as you make decisions regarding these updated protocols for St. Paul Parish:
- Sanitization — We will continue to sanitize all areas of the Sanctuary, restrooms, and door handles after every Mass. Hand sanitizer will be available for all to use upon entering.
- Masks — Everyone is encouraged to wear a mask while in the church building; Liturgical Ministers will wear a mask at all times while in the church building.
- Distancing — Groups will be seated 3-feet apart. Beginning next weekend (May 29/30), the center pews may have seating in every pew as needed while the side sections will remain seating in every other pew. We will continue to exchange the sign of peace with no contact.
