RIP Linda Klein, mother of Rachel Westerfield
We pray for the repose of the soul of Linda, may she rest in the Eternal Peace of God’s Kingdom.

Arrangements are as follows:
Visitation —  Wednesday, Aug 29th 5-7 pm at Natchez Trace Funeral Home
Thursday, Aug 30th 10-11 am here at St. Paul
Funeral Mass — Thursday, Aug 30th 11:00 am here at St. Paul
***Note: we will NOT have a 7:30 am Communion Service on Thursday


RIP Pat Hurley, brother of Fr. Gerry Hurley
Please join us in praying for the repose of the soul of Fr. Gerry’s brother, Pat Hurley, who passed away today at the age of 70. May he rest in the Eternal Peace of God’s Kingdom.

We also pray for Fr. Gerry and the family as they mourn his passing.
Thankfully, Fr. Gerry is in Ireland with his family during this sad time.

  • Food Pantry — supports Stewpot in Jackson, the Center for Violence Prevention Abuse Shelters in Pearl, as well as individuals who request food assistance directly from the Parish.  We welcome non-perishable food in family-size packages, as well as checks or gift cards which we will use to purchase food. Please place your contributions in the baskets at the Church doors.

 Music Ministry —

The St. Paul Praise Choir is seeking individuals to join our music ministry sharing their God-given talents either vocally or playing an instrument. The choir will begin its season with rehearsal on Wednesday, August 29th at 7:00 p.m. in the church. Please contact Joseph Sabatini at 601-940-2812


If you or someone you know has the musical talent to play the piano and/or organ and would like to be part of the St. Paul Music ministry, please contact Joseph Sabatini at or 601-940-2812. This part-time position requires attendance at rehearsals on Wednesday evenings and accompanying the choir at 10:30 Mass on Sundays, as well as additional times as needed.
