Mississippi Catholic Subscriptions
Our Parish provides a subscription to the Mississippi Catholic newspaper to every St. Paul family. We ask each family to donate the $20 subscription fee if you are able. Mark your donation for the newspaper.
Food Pantry donations
Families that have a food deficit are more stressed during the summer when school meal programs are not as easily available for the children. We welcome donations of non-perishable food, gift cards, or cash/checks. Your contributions are shared between Stewpot Food Pantry and the Center for Violence Prevention Shelters. Drop your donations in the baskets at both entrances.
Ordinary Time explained
The Sundays and weeks of Ordinary Time take us through the life of Christ. This is the time of conversion. This is living the life of Christ. Ordinary Time is a time for growth and maturation, a time in which the mystery of Christ is called to penetrate ever more deeply into history until all things are finally caught up in Christ. The goal, toward which all of history is directed, is represented by the final Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe.
