New Activities & Funeral Arrangements

  • We pray for the repose of the soul of our fellow parishioner, Dunlap Peeples May he rest in the Eternal Peace of God's Kingdom. Arrangements are as follows:
  • Second Collection — Make checks payable to St. Paul Catholic Church
    • September 16/17 = Hurricane Harvey Relief
  • Our Lady of Guadalupe Silver Rose — Wednesday, September 20th after 6:00 pm Mass
    • Join us to pray the Rosary in the Chapel @ 6:30 pm led by our Knights of Columbus
    • Honors Our Lady of Guadalupe
    • Part of a traveling tour of the Silver Rose
  • Altar Server Training —  Sunday, Sept. 24th @ 2:00pm
    • Boys & girls in grades 3rd-12th grade are encouraged to join this Ministry
    • Assist Fr. Gerry on the Altar during Mass
    • Training consists of all the procedures
    • New Servers are scheduled with experienced Servers for their first months to allow them practice and assistance
  • Attention all Confirmation students: Confirmation Retreat- Sept. 24th-10:30- 4pm– Meet for mass at 10:30am and join us for lunch and retreat day in the Family Life Center.  
  • Big Deal Concert Event —  Air 1 Positive Hits Tour- Oct. 8th 7:00pm – Cory Head has a limited number tickets for $20 each. We will meet at the Family Life Center and travel together to the concert.  See Cory on Wednesday night or email him-
  • Women’s Guild Meet & Greet on Sept. 25th  @ 11am — Lunch provided, discussing upcoming events & plans for the year.
  • Women’s Guild Annual Wine Tasting on Sept. 25th @ 7pm  — Wine & food pairing. All ladies over 21 are invited. We will be collecting coffee, creamer, sugar, laundry detergent, and individually wrapped snacks for the Opportunity Center.
  • Habitat for Humanity 33rd Catholic Build will be held on Oct. 7, 2017. Sign up this weekend in the back of church to help with the build or to provide food items. Contact Lonnie Graeber @ or 769-798-4694.
  • RCIA / Discovering Christ begins September 12th
    • RCIA = Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a weekly experience of instruction, reflection and prayer gaining an appreciation for the love of God, the Liturgy and principles of the Catholic Faith. 
    • Non-Catholics & Catholics are invited to join us for the Period of Inquiry which includes the 7-week Discovering Christ Series — no commitment to join the Catholic Church.
    • Meets on Tuesday evenings @ 6:30 pm – 8:00pm
    • "Getting Acquainted" & "Tour of the church" are the first two sessions; Discovering Christ begins Sept 26
