BE A PART OF OUR PARISH MOSAIC MEMORIAL PROJECT

Our Parish Mosaic Memorial Project is designed to commemorate our experience of the historic pandemic of 2020. We will have a surprise unveiling at our Fall Celebration!

This memorial will serve 3 purposes:
1) To remember those whom we have lost.
2) To commemorate what we went through during this time, both good and bad, as a church and community.
3) To signify our forward movement and hope for the future.

TILE/POTTERY/GLASS SUBMISSIONS

Donate a piece of porcelain from grandma’s broken china, or bring that box of leftover tile from your ceramic backsplash. Go to a garage sale or store and buy a plate or vase and have a “smashing ceremony” with your family.

Bring as much or as little as you would like! Bag or box up your pieces and label it with your name. Then drop it off here at the church. We would love for each and every family to have at least one piece included in the final project. See the chart of items we can use below.

WORD SUBMISSIONS

Write a word or words that make you think of the pandemic. What word or phrase became part of our everyday vocabulary?We plan to include as many of your words as possible in our final design!
