RIP — We pray for the repose of the soul of our fellow parishioner, Chad LaFontaine who passed away this week. He will be laid to rest in his home place at Bay St. Louis. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by his uncle, Fr. Mike Austin, on Saturday September 25th, 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Pass Christian. We are celebrating a Memorial Mass here at St. Paul this coming Thursday evening at 6:00 pm, September 23rd, preceded by Visitation from 5:00-5:45pm. Chad and Kim have been faithful servants of our Parish for many years, and they have been leaders of the First Communion and Confirmation classes for several years. We extend our prayerful support and sympathy to Chad’s wife, Kim, and their children, Andrew and his wife Hannah, Bailey, and Jacob, as well as Chad’s parents and all extended family members. May the Lord grant eternal rest to Chad, and may He extend the fullness of His peace to Chad’s family and friends during this difficult time. Read Chad’s obituary here.
It is a wonderful sign of hope that more people are returning to in-person worship. The rise in attendance has led us to adjust some of our Mass protocols and guidelines beginning this weekend, September 18/19, 2021.
We thank you for your cooperation!
