RIP — We pray for the repose of the soul of our fellow parishioner, Chad LaFontaine who passed away this week. He will be laid to rest in his home place at Bay St. Louis. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by his uncle, Fr. Mike Austin, on Saturday September 25th, 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Pass Christian.
We are celebrating a Memorial Mass here at St. Paul this coming Thursday evening at 6:00 pm,  September 23rd, preceded by Visitation from 5:00-5:45pm. Chad and Kim have been faithful servants of our Parish for many years, and they have been leaders of the First Communion and Confirmation classes for several years.
We extend our prayerful support and sympathy to Chad’s wife, Kim, and their children, Andrew and his wife Hannah, Bailey, and Jacob, as well as Chad’s parents and all extended family members. May the Lord grant eternal rest to Chad, and may He extend the fullness of His peace to Chad’s family and friends during this difficult time.

COVID Protocols Update – September 17, 2021

It is a wonderful sign of hope that more people are returning to in-person worship. The rise in attendance has led us to adjust some of our Mass protocols and guidelines beginning this weekend, September 18/19, 2021.

We thank you for your cooperation!

  • Seating will be open in every pew for the Middle and Right sections of the Sanctuary. The Left section will remain reserved for those who wish to be distanced and masked. Therefore, all in this section must wear a mask the entire Mass, and be seated every other pew.
  • Communion will return to distribution at the Altar, rather than in the pews.
Ushers will guide the faithful in procession beginning with the outer sections. Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist are required to wear a mask while distributing Holy Communion.
  • Hand sanitizer is available for all to use. Please sanitize upon entering the Church. We will continue to sanitize all pews, bathrooms, and door handles after every Mass. Please be respectful of others wishing to be distanced, and do not attend in person if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID. We are continuing to livestream Wednesday 12 noon Mass & Adoration, Thursday 5:45pm Rosary & Mass, and Sunday 10:30am Mass.
  • Offertory Collection will continue to be placed in the designated baskets as you enter the Sanctuary, or take advantage of our Online Giving.
  • Vulnerable individuals  and the unvaccinated may find it safer to attend a Daily Mass since there are fewer people in attendance. Daily Mass is offered M&F @ 10am; W @ 12noon; T&Th @ 6pm.

Parish Prayer for Healing

Many have asked for a copy of our Parish Prayer which we pray at the end of every Mass. You may download a copy of the complete prayer here and also under the “Prayer Tab” Parish Prayer for Healing
