Cory is the Director of Youth Activities.
He works directly with the youth in grades 7-12 to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Cory plans weekly activities, discussions, praise & worship sessions, outreach activities, and special events such as the trip to see Pope Francis in Philadelphia, PA and the annual ski trip.
A St. Paul parishioner since 1991, Cory has been on the St. Paul Staff since 2015. He and his wife, Meredith, are proud parents of Thomas James, born in December, 2016.
Cory was born in Jackson, Mississippi and graduated from Northwest Rankin in 2003. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Mississippi State University. He loves competing in obstacle course mud races such as The Warrior Dash & Tough Mudder — the muddier and more obstacles, the better!
A favorite prayer he often prays is the Serenity Prayer — God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference.
