The Sabbath is our weekly practice at embracing the present moment - which is the only time that overlaps with eternity. Embracing 'now' helps us embrace a bit of heaven. The longer we bore into the present moment, the closer we get to piercing through the veil of time altogether. The Sabbath is about learning to rest in 'the eternal now'. That's where God, and every gift of your life, is waiting for you." Living Joy ... See MoreSee Less

"The Sabbath calls us to a personal revolution: to revolt against the idea that our value comes from what we do, or that our identity is no more that our job title. We need to give ourselves space to rest so we can simply rediscover ourselves again. You are more than the things you do." Living Joy ... See MoreSee Less

"The Sabbath has forever put kings and bosses in their place, saying to them, 'There's an agenda for mankind that is higher than yours.' When we forget our high place in creation, we become cogs in so many machines. Keeping the Sabbath has the power to keep you grounded in who you are and in the present moment." Living Joy ... ABOUT ST PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH

Our St. Paul logo was designed by fellow parishioner Lori Brechtel, a graphic designer. Lori put great thought and detail into its design. She began by seeking out a symbol of our church that would be readily identifiable to all of our members - the circular, quartered round window on our building.

The yellow, starbust portion represents the light of Christ that blinded Paul, and that light which we show to each other among our congregation, and others. it is "bursting" from the confines of our own church and radiating into the world.
