December 18, 2016.mp3   Matthew 1:18-24  Fr. Gerry speaks about the fears & anxieties some people experience during the Christmas Holiday. He relates it to the fears & anxieties of all the central characters in the Christmas story. Fr. Gerry guides us to each "allow Christ to birth Himself in me, to be born in our own stable." This is what the Lord wants — His Grace. What fears do I have about this reality?

December 11, 2016.mp3   The Gospel of Matthew 11:2-11 continues the story of John the Baptist and his role in proclaiming Jesus Christ as the long-awaited Messiah.  We, too, would probably think John was nuts based on how he appeared. John knew his purpose in life. He focused on his mission.  But, as he sat in prison John began to have doubts. He sought to know the Truth. Do we hunger for the Truth?

December 4, 2016.mp3  Fr. Gerry looks at the imagery present in today's Gospel Matthew 3:1-12. He asks these questions — Were John & Isaiah lunatics? Were they judged by appearances only? Then, he looks at our image of God — Is my image of God as One to be feared or One to be loved?

ABOUT ST PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH

Our St. Paul logo was designed by fellow parishioner Lori Brechtel, a graphic designer. Lori put great thought and detail into its design. She began by seeking out a symbol of our church that would be readily identifiable to all of our members - the circular, quartered round window on our building.

The yellow, starbust portion represents the light of Christ that blinded Paul, and that light which we show to each other among our congregation, and others. it is "bursting" from the confines of our own church and radiating into the world.
