Gift Bearers represent the entire community when bringing forward the bread and wine for consecration.

During the Mass, at the beginning of the Liturgy of the Eucharist, Gift Bearers bring forward the bread and wine which will become the Body and Blood of Christ.

This ministry is ancient. In the second century, Justin Martyr described the Mass: “When our prayer is ended, bread and wine with water are brought forth, and the presider offers prayers and thanksgivings, according to his ability.”

Please stop by the table in the foyer to sign-up! If you are not able to locate the sign-up sheet, please ask an usher or greeter for assistance.

ABOUT ST PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH

Our St. Paul logo was designed by fellow parishioner Lori Brechtel, a graphic designer. Lori put great thought and detail into its design. She began by seeking out a symbol of our church that would be readily identifiable to all of our members - the circular, quartered round window on our building.

The yellow, starbust portion represents the light of Christ that blinded Paul, and that light which we show to each other among our congregation, and others. it is "bursting" from the confines of our own church and radiating into the world.
